We spent last week at Camping Roquetas which was a OKish site. Nothing really bad about it but then again nothing that good. The two exceptions to that were, on the bad site, the area around the camp had a problem with rubbish being dumped all over the place, and on the good side, the restaurant on site was very good.
Its here we met a lovely and interesting couple, Tim and Janet, who are traveling around camping in a Tipi and also blogging about their experiences which you can read here.
We have now arrived at our final stop for a while, six weeks in fact, which is going to be our first, voluntary, long stop. Our only other stop of that period of time was forced upon us when I tore my tendons in Dorset.
We are pitched on D16 at Camping Cabopino until January 3rd so if anyone wants to come join us or just say hello you will be most welcome. If your quick D18 right next to us is still vacant.
The site seems very nice indeed although the internet is a bit on the slow side, not good, and there are plenty of places to eat close by with an Italian and a Indian restaurant on the door step. We did try the Italian restaurant last night and whilst was expensive the food was excellent. The beach is close by (300 meters) with a couple of beach bars.
The girls are really pleased with the site as well as they have a small secure compound where they can be let off the lead to have a run around and play.
