Have you ever tried to put a onesie on without any part of it touching the floor? Well I have and it can be done, but not without a very complex dance and falling into the wall several times as your balance is lost. I am working on perfecting this so no wall support is required but its hard.
We are staying at Oxford Camping & Caravanning club site. Its an old site and in need of refurbishment that is unlikely to happen in the foreseeable future and not without good reason. Go Outdoors, who acquired the site 5 years ago, were going to develop the site into a new super modern camp site but for reasons unknown changed their mind at the last minute. On top of this the sub lease to the club has not been renewed and has been operating on an annual licence ever since. This makes it unwise for the club to invest in major refurbishment if they could be out when the current year is up.
Having said that John and Carol do their very best to keep it clean, tidy and fully operational and in my view they are doing a sterling job and should be congratulated on how well they are doing.
The showers are clean and warm but alas the floor in the cubicles get very wet hence my development of the “onesie dance”. Once I have this perfected I shall be Trade Marking it and selling licences to use it.
Our stopover is to be a short one, just 2 nights, and is mainly for the purpose for stocking up on a few essentials (pegs, walking boots, that special bog roll etc.) from Go Outdoors which is right on the doorstep of the site and it is also a convenient break in our long drive south.
